[ARCHIVED] Bon Air Bridge Replacement Project Presentation Reschedule

To provide ample opportunity for public comment and discussion, and to a include members of the public returning from summer vacations, the presentation will be held at the City Council meeting on September 7th. Public Works Director Julian Skinner will give a presentation detailing the history of the Bon Air Bridge replacement and the associated mitigation projects associated with the bridge.

The mitigation projects triggered by the bridge permitting include: 1) access improvements to the public docks at Bon Air Landing Park and the Marin Rowing Club; 2) relocation of the dog park within Piper Park, creation of a tidal wetland at the existing dog park location in Piper Park; 3) various stormwater improvements on Magnolia Avenue between Dartmouth Drive and Doherty Drive, including underground infiltration chambers, ditch widening, greenway improvements, and the conversion of the four lane roadway between Bon Air Drive and Dartmouth Drive to two lanes to reduce paved surfaces.
