[ARCHIVED] Marin’s Fire Season Now Ramps Up

This in combination with tinder dry vegetation significantly increases the wildfire risk in Marin. The escalated threat usually persists until the first week of November, when cooler temperatures and (hopefully) inclement weather patterns start to push into the Bay Area. If you live within or near a hillside area, you should have already initiated defensible space strategies. If not, start now! Also, from now through October as dry leaves begin to fall from trees, it’s imperative that roofs and gutters be kept clear of this flammable material. More info can be found at:
