In 2004 the City of Larkspur completed a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan identifying its existing network of bicycle facilities and multi-use paths. Now, ten years later the city is updating the Master Plan once again.
Becoming a bicycle and pedestrian friendly community requires several elements. Safety is the number one concern of citizens, whether they are school children, avid or casual recreational bicyclists, bicycle commuters, pedestrians, or motorists. In many locations around the city, bicyclists, motorists, and pedestrians must share narrow, high-traffic roadways.
We are asking the public for input during the process of updating our Master Plan. Below is a link to our Citizen Request Tracker. A Bicycle & Pedestrian Concerns area has been created for Larkspur residents to input areas within the city that are of concern to you. When you fill out this form our department will use this information, which helps us better understand the overall situation in the city.
