[ARCHIVED] Marin Celebrates National Plug In Day

Marin National Plug In Day 2013 will be presented by the Golden Gate Electric Vehicle Association, with major sponsorship from the Transportation Authority of Marin, on Sunday, September 29 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Marin Civic Center parking lot. The event will be held in conjunction with the Sunday Farmers Market.

Test drives of plug in vehicles from Nissan, Tesla, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, and other manufacturers will be offered. Electric and plug in hybrid vehicles will be on display.

In addition to the opportunity to learn how driving electric is fun, economical, and environmentally friendly, attendees will have an opportunity to win tickets to a San Francisco 49ers game courtesy of NRG eVgo.

Plug In Day will be celebrated in 63 cities all across the nation and in Canada and Mexico with national sponsorship by the Sierra Club, Electric Auto Association, and Plug In America.
