TO: Residents of William Avenue

RE: Closure of William Avenue on Fourth of July

Once again, during this year’s Fourth of July celebration, I plan to close access to Redwood High School at the William Avenue extension. Access will be closed at Diane Lane from 8:00am to approximately 1:00pm.

Again, the reason I am restricting access on this street is to reduce congestion, physical conflict and other problems associated with parade participates and floats gathering in the west parking lot of Redwood High School.

I personally apologize for any inconvenience this restriction may cause you, your family or friends.

We are doing everything within our legal power to again ensure a safe and sane Fourth of July in 2012.

In conclusion, if you have any comments or concerns about this preventive measure please do not hesitate to contact Traffic Sergeant Paul Barrolaza.
