Over the course of two 4-hour field trips (May 9 and May 23), the California Conservation Corps and over 100 local elementary students and their teachers led an invasive species removal, litter abatement, and macro invertebrate sampling, with short, relevant lessons connecting all of the labor to watershed stewardship.
