Climate-Smart Gardening, Part I: Impact and Mitigation
Climate change is impacting Marin gardens and gardeners. Come and learn about the present and future local impacts of climate change on gardens. Then we will explore actions gardeners can take to be part of the solution – helping to mitigate climate change.
About the Master Gardeners:
Kathy Hunting, a Master Gardener since 2014, is an environmental health scientist by training. She lives on a sunny acre in Point Reyes Station where her garden is full of tasty vegetables and fruits. She also attempts to grow ornamentals that the deer will not find tasty.
This event is in partnership with the UC Marin Master Gardeners and The Commons Foundation. And is made possible by the Friends of the Larkspur Library.
