  1. Gardening with California Native Plants: Why, How, What and Where

    The Larkspur Library is excited to welcome back UC Marin Master Gardener Bob Mauceli who will share with us the art of gardening with California Native Plants. If you missed it this summer here's your chance to come to the workshop and ask questions Marin Master Gardener Bob Mauceli has been a Master Gardener for over 16 years and is now co-chair of the Marin Master Gardener Native Plants Guild. He moved to Novato seven years ago where he and his wife Sandy have built a native plant garden on a steep hill. Bob is also a member of the California Native Plant Society and has been a birder for almost 50 years; he has used native plants to build biodiverse habitats for wildlife and people in all the places he and his wife have lived. This is event is made in partnership with the UC Marin Master Gardeners and The Commons Foundation and made possible by the Friends of the Larkspur Library.

  2. Bewitched, Bothered and Besotted: A Poetry Event

    February 13, 2021, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Larkspur Library is pleased to host: "Bewitched, Bothered and Besotted: Women Who Write Love Poems." Our beloved annual tradition lives on, and will be presented online this year. As in years past, following the poets' readings, the community is invited to share a favorite love poem of their choosing with the group. A sign-up form will be available if you'd like to participate. This event is in partnership with the Women Who Write Group and made possible by the Friends of the Larkspur Library.
