  1. Summer Reading is Here! For Adults and Kids! Come Play!

    Come down to the Library and sign up for Summer Reading. New this year, we have Adult Summer Reading Bingo! The game starts Monday June 5 and runs through August 4, 2017. Turn your Summer Reads into Summer Fun with our Bookshelf Bingo Game. For Adults and teens ages 13 and up. Kids are invited to sign up for Larky’s Summer Reading Club which runs June 3 through August 5. Win prizes and enter our raffle for Giants tickets. We have a fantastic lineup of fun events for the children. On June 15, high energy duo Musical Robot will be here to kick off our summer reading program. Combining songs, storytelling, puppetry, and out of this world dance moves, Musical Robot is programmed for fun! On June 22, Wildcare’s Wildlife Ambassadors will be here to share information about the wild life that surrounds us! … and more summer fun to follow with storyteller Ane Carla Rovetta, Magician Timothy James, Circus of Smiles and Puppet Art Theater!

  3. Larkspur Library Presents: Total Eclipse

    The View from Larkspur, from the Path of Totality, and from Space. See what the eclipse will look like from on and off the planet with NASA Solar System Ambassador Ron Rosano, who will share views and simulations, answer questions about the phenomena, and discuss how you may best capture it with your own equipment. We'll have answers to all of these questions and more: What's unique about a solar eclipse? What will it look like from my house? Will I damage my eyesight if I look at it? Do I need special equipment?
